County Executive Office
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]I have been with the county of Ventura for 14 years, mostly in human resources positions. Currently, I am the Training Administrator for Learning & Organizational Development in CEO-HR, and the highlight of this position is that I get to be a friendly face and voice that welcomes each new employee to the county family as the host for the County’s monthly New Employee Orientation.
I am serving on this board because I want to contribute to the County workforce in a fun and interesting way, by sharing my creativity to increase member visibility and participation because having a sense of belonging is integral for our workforce. Additionally, I want to be a voice for members because I believe that the County of Ventura is the best place to work, learn, and grow.
I am proud to share that during my employment at the County, I have utilized the textbook & tuition reimbursement program to earn certifications in public and private sector Human Resources, a certificate in Human Resources Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
In addition to the above, I am a wife and a mother, and I spend my free time with my wife Estela (a County Public Health Nurse ), my daughter Raven (an aspiring Irish dancer), and I practice yoga.
